When your biggest mass appeal was for the 'Fuck You' song, its time the masses say 'fuck you- to you'. If you can make it past Kathy Griffin and Anderson Coper in her bra (wtf how pathetic is this??!?) you get to hear Cee Lo reinvent "Imagine" Go to 3:55 on this youtube video that I believe was recorded by Mr Vinny Goombah or something, Venture more in to youtube to see the comments of the idiots who are actually up in arms on this.
"Imagine" with the lyrics changed from "nothing to kill or die for / and no religion too" to "nothing to kill or die for / and all religion's true." According to some fans, Green changed the meaning of the song by switching out the line. "The whole point of that lyric is that religion causes harm," tweeted someone with the handle @geekysteven. "If 'all religion's true' it would be a pretty bleak place."
Cee Lo sucks, simple and it has nothing to do with this song.
The best part of this video is the New Yawk accent of the dude filming it as he counts down and wishes us happy new year at the end of the clip. This cat is gonna get gobs of hits cuz he sat in his boxers and filmed Cee Lo the Lollipop kid do imagine on NYE. But wait stick around cuz he starts belting out New York New York AND Whistles it. The guy with the video camera is actually cooler than Cee Lo.
