Bruce Springsteen Sells Live CDs (MP4s Now) Effective December 1st, 2014

all Bruce all the time
all Bruce all the time

I thought the buy a live CD from Bruce Springsteens back catalogue of shows here  was a major waste of money but I guess I misread it, it is $9.95 for a download -$23 for the CD, and as time goes buy they will have most everything they’ve got up there and there are some gigs, one from 1999 at Meadowlands for instance with bruce singing “Give The Girl A Big Kiss” to his wife.

Just to test run it, and because I wanted to have his cover of “Royals”, I bought the March 1st, 2014 gig in Auckland, New Zealand, and it is exactly as advertised, three hours plus of live Bruce for a tenner, so not bad. The price of lunch!

Right now, everything is just at the beginning, 2014 tour is up and some stuff from 2012 but that’s it. But in time there will be a whole lotta shows and if you care enough you can by an entire tour for $240. As musicians try to find new music revenues, even ones who don’t actually need to do so whatsoever, only certain bands can do this but still certain bands can indeed do this. Could McCartney? Maybe not, Billy Joel could with his MSG gigs.

The only question is what took Bruce took so long to decide to get the concerts up there for cash and prosperity.

PS: the “Royals” cover is excellent.
