Breathe Carolina to Release Hell Is What You Make It: Reloaded

On July 12th, 2011, Breathe Carolina releasedtheir third full length album Hell IsWhat You Make It and skyrocketed to popularity. Their single “Blackout” hadhuge success after debuting on MTV and hitting radio stations everywhere. Not to mention the huge amount of ticket sales it brought with it. Even the band members were shocked to see their popularity.

After a sold out concert at The Space in Hamden, CT, our own Layna Cloud and I got the chance to talk to lead singer David Schmitt and he seemed completely blown away by how successful “Blackout” and Hell Is What You Make It had become. Now,this incredible electro rock sensation is going to do it again with there-release of Hell Is What You Make It under the name Hell Is What You Make It:Reloaded.

This new release will be a digital-only, deluxe version of their latest album and, in addition to having all their previous songs, it will feature 4 new tracks. These tracks will be Breathe Carolina’s latest single “Hit and Run”, a new song “On the Floor”, a remix of “Hit and Run” by UK band Wideboys, and a brand new, updated cut of “Last Night (Vegas)”.Additionally, new cover art will be released.

I may not be as much of a BC fanboy as Layna is a fangirl, but this band is one of the best I’ve heard and one of the best I’ve ever seen live. I look forward to hearing their next studio album, and, more importantly, seeing them at Warped Tour in a few weeks. Some have said that “Blackout” would be Breathe’s only radio hit but hey, the sun never sets on those who ride into it and this band is definitely not stopping
