Black Sabbath Announces A Date For '13'

Metalhead people, the new Black Sabbath’s album ‘13’ will be released on June 11th! It was just announced on Wednesday, and an exclusive look behind the scene was posted on YouTube, showing hairy producer Rick Rubin (who looks like a bit of a guru according to Ozzy) discussing the album and banging his head… lying on a bed? He is a big fan, he said, so we are safe.

It’s their first album in 35 years, and they got the help of Rage Against the Machine’s Brad Wilk (not in the picture), who has to be very busy these days, hardly recovering from his participation into Dave Grohl's Sound City Players. You can even hear a few riffs, probably coming from new songs, but strangely sounding like old Black Sabbath.

'13' is already available for pre-order as a  CD, deluxe double-CD, 12-inch vinyl and super deluxe box set, which includes an exclusive documentary DVD, 13 photographic prints and handwritten album lyrics. And if you are overseas, Black Sabbath will start a tour on April 20th in New Zealand.
