In 1984 Big Audio Dynamite was created and in 1988 it was done. But then it was back as Big Audio Dynamite II in 1990 and in 1993 it was done. Pretty volatile if you ask me but Mick Jones of The Clash wanted to show his funky side and personally I think he did it really well. I really was in to BAD in the 80's and in the 90's I got my hopes up and dashed.. BADII wasn't quite the same.
I had never seen them live and pretty much never thought I would considering touring wasn't going to happen and there hasn't been word of a Big Audio Dynamite III. I just read that they toured the UK, once again the UK gets the good stuff and we get Taylor Swift and DeerHunter, why its enough to make me swallow glass.
But hold up y'all cuz BAD is coming to town this August. Balder, wider and wrinklier but meh who give a crap its all pre recorded dance track anyway so I say throw caution to the wind and do it.
