Production Designer and Art Department Professional Angelica Figueroa Joins Andrew Eborn for an In-Depth Octopus TV Interview
LOS ANGELES, CA — October 2026 — Audiences may never see Angelica Figueroa on screen, but they have increasingly seen the worlds she helps create.
The Los Angeles-based Production Designer and Art Department professional is the subject of a featured interview on The Andrew Eborn Show on Octopus TV, offering viewers a look inside a side of filmmaking that is essential to visual storytelling but rarely receives the same public attention as acting and directing.
Originally from Morelos, Mexico, Figueroa earned her BFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy before establishing herself in Los Angeles. Her professional work encompasses Production Design, Art Direction, Set Dressing and Prop Master responsibilities across film, music, performance and promotional productions.

The interview explores Figueroa’s creative journey and the specialized work required to turn a written story into a believable physical environment.
For a production designer, virtually nothing audiences see within a cinematic environment happens by accident.
Locations, furnishings, props, textures and countless visual details can reveal something about a character before a single word of dialogue is spoken. Figueroa’s work centers on that intersection between storytelling and design.
Her Production Design credits include What a Valentine, starring Jim Beaver, and Tamales, starring Virginia Novello.
Figueroa’s Art Department experience has also placed her on productions connected with internationally recognized entertainment names. She has worked as a Set Dresser on a Willow Smith performance video, a promotional video for Wild ’N Out, and the “Tell Me” project by OneRepublic and Karan Aujla.
One particularly detailed assignment came with Sunrise Boulevard, a short film set in 1955.

Serving as Art Director, Figueroa contributed to the creation of the film’s period-specific visual environment through art direction, props, sourcing and set dressing.
The production went on to become an official selection of the Burbank International Film Festival and received a nomination in the Best Production Design / Art Direction category.
Her additional credits include Canta Santiago, Oroboros, Ikigai and Rebel Flower(s). Her work as Prop Master on Oroboros included responsibility for story-specific props, actor props, sourcing, and practical and breakable set pieces.
Now, The Andrew Eborn Show is turning the camera toward the person who normally works behind it.
The conversation provides Figueroa with an opportunity to discuss the creativity, research and attention to detail that go into building cinematic environments — and the career she continues to develop within the American entertainment industry.

For audiences fascinated by filmmaking, the interview offers something different: a chance to meet one of the creative professionals responsible for determining what a story actually looks and feels like when it reaches the screen.
