Anthoney Raneri Flying Solo
Bayside front man and Queens native Anthony Raneri is embarking on a solo adventure.
"I’m doing a really cool solo tour in January and February.I promise it rules. It’s almost a full US tour, which I haven't done solo wise. It’s a pretty extensive solo tour though with four guys from other bands."
Does this mean Bayside is over? Of course not.
Bayside is becoming one of the most well received band of its genre. Our interview with the guys back in October assured us they were in it for the long haul. Selling out venues and new management are just a couple signs of the strength of the band.
Raneri, the thinker is most likely taking on the solo side to showcase his own work
An extremely articulate and intelligent rocker- he’s got tons to say. A solo jaunt is a perfect way to let his creativity flow.
Bayside is also on top of a weekly internet radio show and working on a rockumentary- no rest for the weary.
Tour dates have not been announced, but I can assure you we will be there.
