Michael McDonald, Ryan Adams and Childish Gambino audition, but the trick is that they have to sing three old NBC show theme songs, because of some budget restrictions. So Michael McDonald has to cover the Saved By The Bell theme, Childish Gambino raps over the Knight Rider theme, while Ryan Adams does a nice acoustic version of the Passions theme, which exactly sounds like a… Ryan Adams song. It’s all good but Cee Lo (of course!) ends up replacing Madonna.
It is funny and well done, but when did Ryan Adams become so mainstream? Anyway he should record that Passions song.
