Who the hell still watches this podunk crap? Most likely the 'honey boo boo child' rednecks in shot gun shacks and those with too much time on their hands. Its a God awful situation that simply wont go away. Why?
Do you know anyone who is calling in their votes? Do you know anyone watching this? The original idea was tolerable 3 judges, a few weeks of competition, someone wins gets a contract bam done. Then it just blew up to merchandise and hooting and hollering and dumbass Simon Cowell. It just got worse and worse until there was no credibility and it was a hot damn mess.
I don't appreciate talent competitions and the auditions are horrific. I despise the sob stories of broken homes and homeless song birds. Shut the hell up- sing and move on. Yet someone is watching- and someone is letting this show earn a time slot and a salary.
This years judges? They're a pathetic list of sadness. Randy Jackson wont let go- he's the permanent dawwwwg now joined by Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and country star Keith Urban. There are so many talent competition on right now. Americas Got Talent, X Factor, and so on.. its a sad state of television. Its easier to do this than to get writers and sets and make entertainment that isn't judged.
Luckily there is very little time in my day for TV so I cant see this anyway. I just wonder who's paying attention anymore.
