I suppose there is nothing that Courtney Love can do that will make change my mind about her, there is nothing I can learn that will make me think she is a good or even okay person, she could donate her entire fortune (does she still own anything anyway?) to feed the homeless that I would still have no consideration for her face. She is goddam awful at so many levels, but this video reveals even more than you’ve ever wanted to know..
A video of Love and her band Hole performing ‘Celebrity Skin in 2010 at Don Hill’s NYC has surfaced and this is, … well, horrible, awful and worst than I would have imagined. I hate her, but I didn’t think she was this bad as a musician. J. M. Ladd, who posted the video, explained this on YouTube:
‘I was hired through the venue to record this show (including many others throughout that week) and was then left standing with a hard drive and an invoice no one seemed to want. Four years later I still have the files and not really any idea what to do with them. But I like to share. So here we are. What you are hearing are just Courtney’s isolated vocal and guitar mics (with the obvious bleed from the rest of the band). I’ve muted everything else. This video I’ve borrowed from elsewhere on youtube and in trying to sync up my own audio I realized they were a little sloppy with their edit. But you get the idea.’
And you have it, Courtney’s isolated vocals and some truly out-of tune guitar playing,… horrible! No matter what some of her supporters (and she still have plenty of them) will say to defend her — saying that vocals are not meant to be isolated, that everybody would sound bad in these conditions,… it’s blablabla nobody sounds that bad and this is not bearable more than a few seconds.
Of course, some aren’t buying it and they say the recording is fake – to what Ladd answered, ‘To address the most obvious, inevitable question that I will be asked…this is not fake. Whether you think she’s the worst or this just makes her all the more “punk rock” is for you to decide. I’m merely presenting the facts as they are. Make of them what you will’.
But at the end it doesn’t even matter. If it’s fake, this sound engineer actually spent some of his time to fabricate this? Why would he do that if it wasn’t to make Courtney Love look very bad? If it isn’t fake, well, she is awful and why would he post the video if it wasn’t to make her look very bad?
No matter how you look at it, this sounds like a sort of revenge of some sort. Plus the guy has posted the rest of the show on his website and you can download it for free at http://radionyles.com by clicking on the image of Tina Yothers… and she is aaaaawful all the way throughout the show, although she barely uses her guitar and there’s no way I am going to listen to the entire thing.
