Fall Out Boy, Yeah rocknyc Will Be There

So I saw the best tweet regarding Fridays Fall Out Boy ticket sale 'this shits going to be worse than Hunger Games'.

Tough ticket indeed.  After a nearly huge hiatus the fab four (yeah I went there) are back and although the latest single has a great title "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark", it didn't smack me in the head with enthusiasm.  What did was the tour info and the prospect of new album this May.

I mentioned I have seen the band three times.  Each at a larger sized venue.  I felt like a proud mother watching their career legitimately take off.  Each time we saw them we got further away, their popularity was thunderous… and then it was over.

A nice three year break never hurt anyone and well like I said we will be 'representing' at the May 26th Boston House of Blues show.  But the tickets aren't even on sale…..

The simple answer is this.  Buy on supply and demand.  Feeling lucky?  Stub Hub has tickets well promise of tickets and as an extremely reliable and prominent ticket reseller you can confidently buy from them in prospect.  Look no further than my brilliant co-editor Iman Lababedi, a professional concert goer who manages to get into every show (including numerous Rolling Stones anniversary gigs)  So in Iman we trust right?  This guy knows how its done.

The chances of you getting tickets by clicking on the Live Nation site on Friday at 10am are pretty slim- sorry kids it will sell out and it will happen fast and well aren't you supposed to be in school?  But by paying over face value (and not ridiculously) we were able to say….yeah, we're there.  Before the tickets even hit the kiosk.  Once this show is sold out that ticket cost is going to skyrocket.  New Yorks Webster Hall show had face values of $30 and were selling at nearly $500.  Dig?

Plan ahead my friend…and thanks to Iman for making it happen.

As a side note these pictures are from the April 29, 2009 show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut…the last time we saw the guys.
