Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance) “Be My Baby” Remake Reviewed

Whoa its like the American Horror Story version of a infamous pop song.  The Ramones took Phil Spectors song and made it a punk rock staple, Frank Iero took it to Spooky Town.

Frank, is the guitarist for My Chemical Romance and the laser pain guitar solos amongst the industrial swizzle show that- this song is fantastic this song gives you goosebumps like a demonic fairytale.  You expect it to be so clean and upbeat but Iero sounds like a serial killer tormenting his victim in a hole in the basement like Silence of The Lambs.  Now we know where the dark side of My Chem comes from.  Its not the flash and profile Way's..its this cat.

The flamboyant front man of My Chemical Romance has done well hiding this ooky sort of player who shines brightly here like a red light in fog.  I absolutely love this song and I adore the entire 'Manson-esque' play taking a tune so well known for its swoony giggle and giving it a sinister wrench.  I cant help but wonder if this is a signal of more solo to come.  My Chem seems to be having some jerky starts  most noted in this monthly single release ploy that Henry Sins has been covering.  What's up Killjoys?

Who cares, if they cant remain on The Black Parade side of their repertoire then I'm gonna jump ship and dub Frank Iero the pied piper of this scene.  What a magnificent job.  I have linked his Soundcloud page below rather than just the tune so you can get an earful of his Christmas song as well- not what you'd expect either.

Iero keep it up!
