In the latest Warped Tour news, it has been announced that Motion City Soundtrack, Blessthefall, Big D and the Kids Table, GOLDHOUSE, Five Knives, Itch, and Echosmith will be joining the tour’s lineup. Of these, only Blessthefalls was at last year’s Warped Tour, and they, along with Motion City Soundtrack, are the only bands I’ve heard of in this latest lineup announcement. Coincidentally, these are the two bands for which the Facebook users who commented on Warped Tour’s FB announcement post are most excited.
Of course, there are plenty of the “the lineup was so much better last year”comments but those piss me off because they are plentiful every single year. I swear some people exist solely for the Warped lineup announcements so they can pour negative energy into the many “Warped tour is getting softer and softer with each announcement” and “the lineup this year sucks where are all the good bands” posts. But then, some people are assholes and just like to complain so I prefer to look at the many, many people who are excited for Warped every year no matter what it may bring to its stages.
My Warped Tour Tip for this post is something the tour’s Facebook page posted earlier today: “Buying earlier this year, you'll pay less. Buying later, you'll pay more”. If you haven’t already got a ticket, they’re available for all dates in all cities except Las Vegas (the venue for which is still being determined) so hurry up and get em while they're cheaper!
