These words are worth rewriting: "Everybody has this guilt complex that they're not good enough, that they're not talented, that they're useless, that there's something wrong with the. It's not true. There's nothing wrong with any of you out there. There's nothing wrong with you." So sayeth John Lennon and with the exception of Chris Martin I tend to agree.
There is a reason why Lennon is bigger than the Beatles, bigger than anybody, why he is still adored and the compassion of songs like "Instant Karma", "Give Peace A Chance" and the Universal good will of the statement. The great secret of live is either everything has a soul and is therefore good enough or nothing has a soul and is therefore good enough.
December 8th will make it a mindboggling 33 years since Lennon was murdered. He didn't want to be martyr, he didn't want to be more than human, but there you go: he is stuck with it. There was nothing wrong with him.
