Fox is infamous for their animated series. The Simpsons is a prime example of how far the 'cartoon' has come. Bob's Burgers is one of the latest to hit the small screen, I saw it once, and it wasn't my cuppa. The mother Linda Belcher clad in her old bridesmaid dress heads in to a Holliday pageant to sing her song.
BUT there are very few Thanksgiving songs. I adore Adam Sandler's holiday ode to Turkey but other than that its chew the bird and hit the Christmas tunes. So it's refreshing to have yet another parody song to hum along too- although this one really isnt so peppy.
Below is a link to a very exclusive clip that for some reason I cannot embed. It's actually sorta funny the sorrow drenched drawl of The National really does contrast well. Wait, without them it couldn't be more depressing than the mourning vocals of Matt Beringer. That guy is bummed like all the time. Sorta spooky too.
The rousing chorus of " kill, kill… kill the turkey' pretty much sums up what has become of the holiday for appreciation. Uh oh don't get me started on that again or you'll get a 300 word post on why you suck for eating meat.

The best comment? "that was funny, then beautiful, then creepy" Sorta like the holiday itself!
