Elton John And Engelbert Humperdinck Record Duet

There are times in your life when you must pause and offer praise for things that are simply amazing.  Today I ask you to pause in silent honor for the name Engelbert Humperdinck.  Can you imagine the life of a man with that tag?

I suppose his boyhood days were hell.  Most likely called 'Bert' by his mates the Humperdinck was impossible to escape from.  Thank the Lord he got famous or how wouldl he have survived?  Your mortage broker, banker, heaven forbid..teacher?

He chose that right path and at age 76 he is kicking ass in LA recording with the shell of greatness Elton John.  Elton has not an ounce of cool left.  Looking like a pastey round Auntie he is evidently getting his time in the studio with 'Bert' and the two are talking.

Engelbert said, “This album is a true labour of love. We have a few more recordings to go, but what a cast! I’m keeping most of it under my hat but was so excited about working with Elton who I have admired ever since first hearing him that I just couldn’t keep it to myself. I’m honoured that he has contributed to this album, people are going to love the track.”

Elton commented, “One of the sweetest and nicest people I have ever worked with. We had great time singing together and he is so quick, what I call a ‘one-take singer’. 76 years old and still sounding as good as ever”.

63 Gold and 24 Platinum albums. He also has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame Englebert Humperdinck is a true music icon with the craziest natural name of all time.
