3oh!3 did pretty well for themselves in the begining. Had a couple great dance tunes that will forever be in clubland but then? Well then something went a bit odd. Their duets with Katy Perry and Kesha never really got the hype youd expect.
Im unsure why. Katy certainly has the power to draw but even with her name, well- can you name the song they did together? I think not.
The word is they went 'back to basics' for their upcoming fourth album "Omens". Im not so sure thats accurate. Could it be that the cash cow has dried up? It has been awhile since there has been a big buzz on this Colorado duo, hmmm. The band went so far too their basics that they ended up in band member Nathaniel Mottes basement. The band also said this release will have no 'guest' performers.
Sean Foreman told Billboard;That was the primary focus of the album, that we just got in there by ourselves and did what we wanted to do. I have no doubt we'll work with people in the future, but this just felt like the right way to go about making this album." 3OH!3 has so far unleashed the song "You're Gonna Love This" and they expect to release a second single before Omens comes out. The duo is planning to tour extensively in 2013.
