Life is strange sometimes. The NY Daily News has found Lisa Mary Presley, and she is selling fish and chips from a van in a small village in England! What? I thought she was still in Los Angeles! But according to the newspaper, she moved to Rotherfield, her husband’s native village, two years ago and embraced a more rural way of life.
She declared to the Kent & Sussex Courier that she particularly enjoyed the fact that customers didn't know it was her, appearing to really like the country, and declaring she preferred English people over ‘self absorbed’ Californians: ‘I lived in the same neighborhood for 17 years, and I didn't even know a neighbor. When I moved here, I was getting notes and flowers. That's what I love about it. It's simple, it's not flash, it was a quality of life I needed.’

Her friends, Kim and Justin Scales, who run the fish-and-chips business and a pub, have also talked about her enthusiasm to help them, saying she ‘could not wait to don an apron to serve people’.
‘Her rich neighbors are confused that she wants to come to the pub,’ said Kim Scales. ‘When she is in the pub people treat her normally. It's not a big deal, everyone has got used to her. She's really friendly.’
