Bananarama 30th Anniversary Tour

You can call them overgrown groupies…or you can call them one of the first all girl 80s pop bands.  I personally, loved them.  'Really Sayin' Something', is a fab tune and their work with the Fun Boy Three made me a very happy girl.

Its hard to believe they're on their 30th anniversary tour but what makes it more interesting is that tits part of "Pinktober", Hardrock Cafe's Breast Cancer awareness event.   If you aren't aware of Breast Cancer by now, you're not alive. For Gods sake everything is pink.  Enough of the awareness can we please find a cure?

The Cafe's  be done up with tons of pink to mark National Breast Cancer Awareness month with non-alcoholic “pink” drinks and “pink” menu offerings as well as Pinktober merch.

“Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by breast cancer,” Bananarama’s Sara Dallin said. “So when Hard Rock offered us the opportunity to take part in Pinktober and support a great cause in a fun way, we jumped at the chance.”

Her bandmate Keren Woodward added, “We cannot wait to get our Hard Rock tour started and spread the Pinktober message of awareness and hope to all our amazing fans.”

Proceeds from the sale of Pinktober products (such as the 2012 T-shirt, bracelet, robe, pin and more) will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation .
