French comic book illustrator and graphic artist Hervé Bourhis has drawn a book about the most famous band in the world, the Beatles. the book, entitled ‘The Beatles Graphic’ (also translated from 'The Little Book of Beatles’) is rather a large book, with 156 pages telling the story of the Fab Fours with a collection of facts, reviews, anecdotes about John, Paul, George and Ringo, starting from their births, to their successful careers, and eventually the tragic deaths of two of them.
Bourhis has not only done the illustrations but also wrote the text, and the reviews of the albums! It works like a biography with a zine look, written by a fan and a very talented guy, and should be a must-have for any Beatles fan. I haven’t seen it because it is so far only available in the UK, but will be released in the US on November 1st.
