Slipknot Wants Revenge

I was never a huge fan of Slipknot I don't like the gimmick aspect, they were comedy to me sorta like Gwar but they had a couple of tunes worth hearing and I admired their longevity.  Where there is a teenage boy with a hard on and bad skin, there is a demand for bands like Slipknot.  Same mentality.

The terrible and untimely death of their bassist Paul Gray is out of the headlines,  It ends up just another rock and roll overdose like the hundreds before him and the millions to follow.  What's up with this this the new allegations of 'involuntary manslaughter' against Gray's  doctor.

In a Slipknot statement on this news we have the following:
"As the loss of our brother Paul Gray is still very fresh for us in the Slipknot family, this new development has us all in a state of anger and sadness. The fact that this person took advantage of our brother's illness while he was in a position to help others has outraged everyone in our family.

"We can only hope that justice will be served so this can never happen to anyone else ever again! Our thoughts go out to the families of the other victims. We plan to cooperate as much as we possibly can to ensure this tragedy is never repeated, and to make sure this man pays for what he has done."

If Dr. Daniel Baldi is convicted of all the charges, he could face up to 16 years in jail.

His lawyer Guy Cook, has called the charges "unprecedented", saying: "It is unprecedented to turn unfortunate deaths or medical results into a crime against a doctor."

Did Doctor Baldi administer the fatal dosage?  No.  So how about we let the addict take responsibility for his own misjudgment?  Our society of blame game is pathetic and the moronic vengeance route Slipknot is taking makes me realize what idiots they are.
