Sting? Yeah, Theres An App For That

An 'app' or application is the rage.  Got one?  Share it.  From every topic to every human there is an app to add to your phone or iTunes.

I didn't even realize that Sting had an app but he does and he just improved it.  Upgraded Sting.  We joke about Bono being a tool but we really don't give Sting enough credit for being an egotistical knob.  Talented? Yeah, of course but really a bit more keen on himself than most of his wildest fans.

Sting's app has cool concert footage and the upgrade includes three previously unseen performances from his 60th Birthday Benefit Concert (Brand New Day with Stevie Wonder, If You Love Somebody Set Them Free with Branford Marsalis, and Roxanne featuring Bryn Terfel)  Yup, that's a heap of name dropping for the dude who used to be so cool in the Police days.

There is also a documentary (called an appumentary?) with a PSA for Stings charity that provided indestructible soccer balls to people in need.  Yes, you head me right   "One World Futbol Project" is present in war-stricken zones, refugee camps, disaster areas and other disadvantaged communities around the world- spread the love…

The App also explores Sting's solo career through handwritten lyrics and journal entries, rare photos, in-depth interviews, and a variety of concert footage, including performances and behind-the-scenes footage from his 60th Birthday Celebration benefiting the Robin Hood Foundation at New York City's Beacon Theater.

Such a nice guy.  You can score the free app on iTunes  'Sting 25'.
