Why would I say such a thing? Cuz he changes his mind more than a woman.
In a recent interview with the New York Times he made mild note that LCD Soundsystem may reunite to record a film score. What the heck this guy throws a massive send off party for himself and hasn't been out of the news since. Books, coffees, you name it the guy is everywhere.
I for one have no beef with it. New LCD would be welcome in my ears if it wasn't lame of course. But wheres the credibility? Suddenly they're going to be like the Eagles. Enough- either end it or don't. Zombie bands are silly.
Lets see, in the interview it also mentions that Murphy is opening a shop in Williamsburg Brooklyn called "House of Good' where he will hawk his wares including the coffee and a new luggage line. Not making this up.
Murphy also mentioned that he is recording “little synth songs” that he’s made “at other people’s studios,” and that he recently recorded with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Klaxons, and The Julie Ruin.
Oh and one last thing- there is talk of scoring an HBO film 'The Corrections", but I think that got the ax.
