The Raconteurs Release Live at Montreux DVD

The Raconteurs were born in 2005 with Jack White, Brendan Benson and drummer Patrick Keeler and bassist Jack Lawrence from The Greenhornes. Their debut album Broken Boy Soldiers hit #22 in the U.K. and the follow up, Consolers of the Lonely debuted at #8. Both were top 10 albums in the U.S.

Personally I found "Consolers of the Lonely" to be the weaker of the two, BUT if you downloaded the cd then sync'd it to your iPod all the song titles would be silly and the cover art would be hilarious- go try it.

Anyway, I never did see them live and well, I never will.  The newly released Live at Montreaux was part of the tour in support of the band’s second album, and it includes tracks from both records.  Since I never had a chance to see them live I couldn't tell ya how they were with the stage presence.  Usually these types of guys are rather introverted so I would predict alot of self loving.  I could be wrong- but who knows.

As far as music DVD's goes this one should be worth it for the tunes alone.
