Well you have heard of the separation of Church and State can we please get a separation of Rock and State? This whole political connection thing is really annoying but this is the most odd.
For a $10. ticket you buy a chance to sit in a recliner on the stage during a Pearl Jam concert as well as get to attend a pre-show meet & greet with Senator Tester and members of the band, as well as have dinner with the senator and Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament. The prize package also comes with hotel accommodations and round-trip transportation within the U.S. or Puerto Rico oh and you can bring a guest.
The show, which takes place Sept. 30 in Missoula, Mont., at Adams Event Center and you can make your donations" up until August 24. Small print says that the amount of your donation will not effect your odds of winning and also state you can enter without payment but c'mon- what are the odds on that.
A limited number of VIP packages to the show, priced between $250-$500 and including the meet & greet and dinner, were also offered via Tester’s website and have already sold out.
A pre-sale for Pearl Jam Ten Club members began earlier this week. Tickets go on sale to the general public June 22.
