So we have reported on the upcoming CBGB's movie a few times. Toldja who's gonna be in it- voiced some concern over the choices. Iman and I have shared some of our experiences at the legendary club numerous times on this site and Im sure we will continue to do so.
I once wrote an entire post about this one particular item… the bathroom. Now I get the great news that this original and unwashed toilet has been preserved and is en route to filming in Georgia!!
Yup, a professional demolition crew has painstakingly dismantled the loo and its filthy contents as well as former owner Hilly Krystals desk and the cash register…how fun! Now these artifacts will play center stage in this oh so pathetic film. Cant wait!! How many people will be able to shout 'hey I USED that thing!!"
Grasping straws but funny none the less. Filming begins this month and the toilet is ready for its close up.
