Legendary New Order and Joy Division bassist Peter Hook opened the Hacienda Part II, a new club called Fac251, in Manchester last night with a performance by his band the Light featuring various memebers of Primal Scream and Stone Roses as well as Hook’s own seventeen yeat old son Jack.
The opening night concert sold out in ten minutes and apparently it sizzle and popped though the version of “Blue Monday” on NME’s website does neither.
Here’s the setlist:
‘Dark Starr’
‘You Don’t Know…’
‘Dreams Never End’
‘Ceremony’
‘Sister + Brother’
‘Shine’
‘What Do You Want From Me’
‘Atmosphere’
‘Insight’
‘Shadowplay’
‘Pictures’
‘Interzone’
‘Warsaw’
‘Transmission’
‘Sunrise’
‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’
‘Blue Monday’
