Watch Their Charming Video And Help George Glass Finish Their New Album

I see a lot of so-called alt-rock indie bands at the Echo or at the Satellite in Los Angeles, and George Glass' original and surprising songs left a particular imprint in my mind.

The band is currently trying to raise money to be able to finish recording their first full length album, and it is difficult to resist to the quirky video for their song ‘Welcome Home’ posted on their fundraising page. It is a delightful Buster Keaton-esque mini black and white silent-movie, narrating every man's tribulations with love.

The catchy melody starts with some infectious drums making a quiet and familiar waltzing tempo (I don't know, I keep thinking about the beginning of Elliott Smith's song 'XO'), then, the pop tune keeps on giving with melancholic vocals, bright guitar riffs building a big sound, whose development is as surprising as the storyline of the video.
