Mayday Parade "Stay" Video Review

I very rarely am at a loss for words, very rarely.  I am stunned by the new video from Mayday Parade.  I do believe the boys have grown up.  I am taken aback at not only their poise but the artful and simplistic video they take part in.

Lets face it a stylist creates videos.  They're advertisements and nothing more.  If you can get hooked on a tune by its look (happens to me all the time!) then you've sold your idea.  In this case, the firm that created the 'Stay' video should be congratulated to the stars.

A soft and emo filled Derek Sanders (who needs shampoo STILL) goes on a heartfelt journey into loss.  Well played with minimal acting need and the band shots are beautifully done.  Are these the same Dortito eating kids we met up with two years ago?

A lovely song and a great video until the medics put the defib on her liver (what's up with that!) and her miraculous recovery but hey its a video not a documentary right?

The trend is apparently to were dark suits and ties cuz if you hang out on MTV's Buzzworthy the next video up is needtobreathe and they're wearing the same outfits that Mayday is in the performance portion of the video.  Just saying.

Anyway, congratulations Mayday Parade, I knew ya had it in ya.
