Fiona Apple has just revealed on her Facebook page, the tracklist of her upcoming album, as well as the cover art, which is a little bit on the weird side. I mean, Fiona is a really pretty girl, but instead of displaying one of these cool pictures of her (the easy-lazy way) she chose this busy and intricate drawing of… her? I am not sure, but it certainly looks torturous and this was probably what she was looking for.
There is probably a lot of pressure on her at this moment, as her last album, ‘Extraordinary Machine’ was released seven years ago! According to Pitchfork, ‘The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do’ will be released on June 26 via Epic Records.
