The reviews of Lil Wayne’s Rebirth have been so uniformly lousy I decided to track by track it at first, and this despite loving “Prom Queen” forever and the Eminem feature, “Drop The World” less so. But the very first song I bought was “Knockout” and it was -a real rock song with a great chick singer.
So I bought the album and my take is:
1) It’s not as good as his recent mix tape No Ceiling
2) The bloke is too everywhere… he needs to lower his public exposeur
3) Jail will help that immensely.
