You may love her or hate her – it seems to go from one extreme to another with her – but Lana Del Rey has just announced two June residencies, one in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theater (did she pick up the place to rhyme with her name?) and another one in New York at the Irving Plaza.
I saw her at Amoeba in February, I thought she was good, but couldn’t understand all this insanity going on, people lining up hours and hours before the show, fans literally crying when she appeared and acclaiming every single vocal modulation of hers as if she was the new Barbra Streisand.
Be aware that these tickets are gonna fly as soon as they are on sale! The rest of her dates are European ones, so the diva will totally ignore you, middle America, sorry!
