In celebration of what they are calling 'The Year of The Doors' there is a new video released for the classic song "LA Woman".
The Doors are one of the most influential bands of our lifetime. There are times when I shun them as uncool and times like right now, when I am stunned at how thrilling they can be. This video couldn't be more perfect.
An updated skateboard adventure using pro boarders Kenny Anderson, Alex Olson, and Braydon Szafranski zipping through LA hotspots. There are certain scenes that actually sent a chill up my spine. I havent been to LA in a very long time but I can remember it like yesterday as these night scenes flash by.
The video tours us through some infamous Doors haunts and has some really cool subtle nods for the die hard Door fan.
The video is exhilarating and captures a new energy in a relic.
'The Year Of The Doors' kicked off in January with the release of the 2-CD L.A. Woman: 40th Anniversary Edition from Rhino and the DVD/Blu-Ray Mr. Mojo Risin': The Story Of L.A. Woman from Eagle Rock Entertainment
