Really does pop punk come from Paris?
Apparently so. Chunk! No Captain Chunks is a band signed to Fearless Records that seems to be gaining to some momentum. As part of the "This Means War" tour, CnCC is winning hearts across the States.
I have to say that the tour update posted below is by far the most interesting representation of what is going on with these guys. How they start of sleeping in a van to a suite in Vegas is a pretty interesting leap- if not somewhat unrealistic.
Their music is what all good pop punk should be. Hypnotic beats, catchy sing back lyrics, an angry growl and of course, a clean vocal for the teen girls to swoon for.
Here it all is and its just getting better. The band has been around for about 4 years now and their name? Well that of course is from The Goonies.
I'm excited to announce that www.rocknycliveandrecorded.com will be speaking with the band this Saturday February 25, when they open for Attack! Attack! in Danbury CT. Someone should really rename this the exclamation mark tour.
