I am not an Adele fan. Lets get that on the table right this minute so there is no confusion. To hear her sing is one of the most painful events of a day. She screams, she stalks, shes insane and I'm afraid of her. Well, I'm afraid of the singing Adele.
The Adele that sat down with 60 Minutes last night was a totally different girl. Although she resembles drag queen Divine, she really came across as a regular sassy chick. I like the interviewed Adele.
As she discussed her rise to fame (that she found 'hilarious') or how she plants false information to her friends to see if they're leaking gossip to the press, she was normal. She wasn't a stalking heart broken tissue blowing hot mess. She was a self assured toughy who must get all her psychosis out in her songs.
She writes about the loves shes lost and is love now with some Brit entrepreneur with a big beard but when she spoke of him, she giggled, and it appeared sincere. That was actually endearing. I'd hang out with her. She curses, shes sarcastic and hold strong opinions. No wonder I like her iin nterview.
How can such a saucy dame be such a psychological mess in song? Is she playing to the suburban housewife? Songs for the lovelorn? Cuz this girl is pretty damn cool.
So if its an act then good for her, but if its a multiple personality disorder.. then we should all be really scared.
