What What was Justin Bieber doing there? Please explain to me. On Thursday, Michael Jackson’s kids participated in a strange ceremony honoring their father in front of the Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard,and the other kid of pop, the Bieber himself, just showed up.
Prince, Paris and Blanket put Jackson’s footprints and glove into cement, immortalizing their dad in front of a few members of the Jackson family (but curiously no Jermaine, Rebbie, Janet or La Toya), and Paris Jackson introduced Justin Bieber, who took the stage, sang a few seconds of the Jacksons 5’s ‘Rockin’ Robin’ acapella, and spoke about MJ as if he had always known him.
According to the Daily mail, Paris was the one who made sure Biebert was invited, saying to the crowd:
‘We are all very big fans of Justin and his music. I know I am!'
To what Bieber answered:
'I don’t usually get nervous, but I’m kind of really nervous right now. Basically because Michael meant so much to me and I know he meant a lot to you guys as well.
‘He was more than an entertainer. He was an inspiration the way he was kind, he was gentle and very charitable.’
‘That’s why I look up to him. People are going to remember him for his dancing and singing, but people have to remember him for being the man that he was. I think everybody right now should give Michael a round of applause.'
'EverythingI do, I look at Michael and I want to be as good as he was.'
Blabla bla,… this guy can never miss an opportunity can he? He can milk the dead cow too, why wouldn’t he, he has the Jackson clan’s approval. Since he approximately sang for 10 seconds, and very badly (he shouldn’t do the acapella thing) it is difficult to take him seriously and not to smell the photo op.
If you can endure Biebert’s performance, you can watch the whole circus below; the kids are unexpectedly at ease on stage, Paris is a very pretty young girl and Prince looks more and more like Corey Feldman, and it may not be just a coincidence.
