Kayne West is a real diva, at least he behaves like one. According to the Courier Mail, at the Big Day Out Australian music festival,the rapper started his set 45 minutes after it was scheduled, making the publicf urious and people chanting ‘bullshit’.
The heavy rain was blamed, then a source said Kanye did not want to ‘share the limelight’ with Skateboarder Tony Hawk, which does not make sense since the rain had precisely stopped the skating for two hours.
And when I say he is a diva, just wait for more: he had demanded his private dressing room facilities to be furnished in white, and inconsequence a cream-colored couch had to be replaced. Sorry for the misstep sir!
He also asked for a police escort to the venue, something which was refused to him, at least!
But the most interesting part of all this is rocker Chris Cornell’s reaction when Kanye’s loud sound check interrupted Soundgarden’s set.Cornell then said to the crowd:
‘Sounds like there's children playing music there, retarded children, retarded as in held back. There's no other word for it’.
I am not sure what he meant by retarded, whatever you think about Kanye’s grand iloquence and ever-expanding douchebagery, it’s kind of a stupid comment and none of them come out of this story nicer or more likeable.
But there is always controversy where Kayne West goes.I wonder whether he has any friend left in the business beside Jay-Z.
