1. You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Grow – Miley Cyrus – Miley is unbelievably beautiful on this song off Blood On The Tracks. She gets that it is country and not folk and she is not so young that she can't grasp the sentiments. Miley takes it easy, undersings it a touch, and lets the melody play itself out.
2. Evolve Or Be Extinct – Wiley – Tinie Tempeh is cracking the US while Grime King Wiley isn't because Tinie sounds American and Wiley sounds English. But here is the kicker. Wiley is the better rapper, if not the better sampler.
3. Wasted Days – Cloud Nothings – This is just a wonderful song: it starts off like very loud Cloud Nothings and ends like Sonic Youth having a nervous breakdown.
4. My Hands Are made Of Spite – Ceremony – Old fashioned Cali hardcore. A must hear.
5. False Jesii Part 2 – Pissed Jeans – An astounding, pounding guitar tears up the melody and the lead singer tears up his throat.
6. This Is My Song – Petula Clark – The highlight of her show was written by Charlie Charlie Chaplin, and a worldwide smash, sung in every language, English last of all. It is like an illumination into the Little Tramps soul.
7. Northern Soul – Cardinal – Orchestrated duo jangle along.
8. Clear Eyed Clouded Mind – Nada Surf – Sounds 1990s but not like grunge, more like Soul Asylum, Gin Blossoms… even soul asylum.
9. Welcome To The Church Of Rock And Roll – Foxy Shazam – Old time glam rock but it should be better.
10. Real In Rio – Will I Am
