The whole Harry Connick Jr/New Orleans thing gets a bit old. I’m sure more people know he is from there than that the Beatles are from Liverpool- enough already.
Well now attorneys for Connick and Branford Marsalis are suing a medical group for using their images without permission.
The Peoples Health Network have apparently scooped up some footage of the two natve sons performance at the grand opening of The Musicians Village housing development. PHN was denied right to film the event but .. bing there it is just the same.
The suit seeks to stop the medical firm from misleading the public by using images as well as collect damages and attorney fees.
May I ask what damage occurred? This is where the law gets weird and attorneys go wild. I doubt with sincerity that The Peoples Health Network, are up to no good using a public performance for evil.
I suppose its all in good fun.
