Invisible Children is a well supported organization brought first to the forefront by Fall Out Boys, Pete Wentz.
The invisible children are those in Africa who are abducted from their homes at young ages to be placed in the military. A brutal and common practice in some cultures. IC’s mission is to raise awareness and of course help the victims of this ongoing cultural barbarity.
A noble cause supported by noble bands with noble reasons but……and really this is a horrible thing to say but
What on Earth makes Cobra Starship think auctioning off a video of themselves is charitable? Haven't these children suffered enough?
I suppose there are 30 kids in Kansas who will scream with delight at this one but I can’t really see the mass appeal. Could they not come up with something a bit more tangible?
A raffle to win 1 of 5 personalized videos.
By far the lamest offering I have ever seen, its almost embarrassing to consider.
Please support Inviable Children and The Musician Coalition, but not Cobra Starship. Is this a matter of ‘insertname here’, personalization?
What a joke- shame on you CS,donate proceeds from one of your Beiber-thons or your shades from the Macys Parade. What egotistical sell outs.
