That’s a real strange one! The Franco-Spanish fashion designer Paco Rabanne has chosen the face of his new fragrance: Iggy Pop!
OK the name of the perfume is Black XS L’Excès, and this can partially explain the choice, but the picture above sure gives me the chill, and I am not saying this in a good way, plus I actually first thought it was an ad for a new brand of cognac or another liquor.
Paco Rabanne’s new scent will have a men’s and a women’s version and will debut in France in January 2012 with a billboard and TV campaign, and then will be available in the US at some point in 2012.
What happened to Iggy Pop? What happened to the punk-anarchic-performer-I-Wanna-be-Your-Dog kind of guy? He got clean and even smells good.
