It must be hard to be Lou Reed these days, but he handles it well as it seems, I would be scare to death at his place! USA Today had an interview with the Velvet Underground man and he revealed that ‘Metallica's fans are threatening to shoot me, and that's only because I showed up. They haven't even heard the record yet, and they're recommending various forms of torture and death.’
Hasn’t he seen Metal fans? They can be really terrifying, but he does not seem to be concerned, neither by this nor by his own fans, as he added:
‘I don't have any fans left. After Metal Machine Music (1975), they all fled. Who cares? I'm essentially in this for the fun of it.’
The fun? But with no fans left and Metallica’s fans who want to kill him, where is the fun? Yes it must be hard to be Lou Reed.
