Rev Theory (formerly Revolution Theory but I think that was too tough to write on a shirt) from Andover MA have lost a hardcore dream come true opportunity. Imagine if you will being able to open for insanely hot bands like All That Remains and Five Finger Death punch but having to bow out cuz of a beer bottle.
Guitarist Julien Jorgensen, had tendons severed in his hand when a wedding trick went bad. A fellow party goer thought it fun to attempt to open a bottle without a bottle opener, it slipped it bounced it ripped open Jorgensen's hand.
“I am super bummed that happened, and it is a freak accident,” Jorgensen said in a statement. “It is a helpless feeling. I feel bad about dropping off the tour and disappointing the fans. As soon as I am able, we will be back on the road.”
These opportunities don't come often.. hell no.
