Madina Lake have been written about more times than I can count here at rocknyc. The new video for the song "Imagineer", seems to be so fitting as the band rides about nyc, rocking. Being the 'all about me' sort of gal that I am, I will interpret that as a Madina Lake nod to US.
Lets strip away the drama of what this band had endured. Other forums are going to focus on that, we wont.
Madina Lake, Chicago hometown heroes have been on my playlist for years. Having met them many time and seen them live even more times I can say that I have yet to see a more friendly more open and more honest band in all my years. The relationship they have with their fans is a true inspiration and I'm not sure the Leone brothers were born with the ego gene. Sincere and personable is one thing, incredible talent is another- and this is what is most important.
The band is supporting the release of their new album WWIII and with it a tour. A tour that should not be missed. A handful of band will tour non stop- Madina Lake doesn't, so its best to catch them when you can. I had hoped to see them on Warped Tour but they didn't make it to the East Coast. That's ok cuz I will see them again numerous times as they support this latest work of art. If the video below is any indication of the maturity this band has reached- I'm pretty confident I will be blown away yet again.
