I am still beating myself for missing Girls at the FYF fest, because I listened to their recently released album, ‘Father, Son, Holy Ghost’, and I liked most of what I have heard! It is a very diverse one, and if you had only heard ‘Vomit’, the track you can download for free (http://www.facebook.com/GIRLSsf?sk=app_151079988301527), let’s just say there are songs extremely different from that epic Pink Floyd-ish-ambiance number.
To celebrate and promote their album, the band will be performing the first nationwide in-store on Friday September 16th, 'Girls across America'.
They will actually be playing a free, all-age concert at Grimey’s (http://www.grimeys.com) in Nashville at 5 pm CST, but many US independent record stores will be simultaneously broadcasting the show.
