Too bad! I was in Venice Beach this same afternoon and I missed them!!…. The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea twitted this around 5 pm on Saturday:

The band performed their new single ‘The Adventure of Rain Dance Maggie’ on the rooftop of the address above. Twitter has definitively become the medium used for this kind of thing, just 4 days ago DJ Kaskade used it for the Hollywood block party fiasco.
I was walking in front of this place just 2 hours before!! It is just in front of muscle beach, where bodybuilders train all the time, and I had noticed a more than usual LAPD presence, but did not suspect a thing. By 6:30 pm I was already gone …. should I check twitter meanwhile!
