The San Francisco band Girls sent me an email to download the track ‘Vomit’ from their upcoming album ‘Father, Son, Holy Ghost’ due next September 13th in the Ss and a little earlier in Europe.
The song is loud and spacious, quietly starting with Christopher Owens’ vocals, and slowly expanding with shredding electric guitars, to end up in a grandiose finale, like a Pink Floyd’s song with gospel-psychedelic female back up vocals. So why this title about disgusting body fluid?
Last November, Girls released an EP ‘Broken Dreams Club’ with 6 songs, and the band is scheduled to play at the FYF fest on September 3rd
