Madonna To Star In New Comic Book

it a way to revive her career? Madonna as a comic book? According to Associated Press, this will be a reality soon: Bluewater Production Inc. will add her to a list of previous celebrities who were part of the ‘Female Force’ comics.

This is what Jason Schultz, Bluewater's executive vice president declared: ‘Our goal is to show the little-known events and influences that resulted in Madonna becoming the phenomenon she remains to this day, more than a quarter-century after she burst upon the scene, a visual medium provides perspective that is not only accessible but more relatable to the average person without losing any of the information involved.’

The comic, written by C.W. Cooke and drawn by Michael Johnson, is due in August for the very modest price of $3.99, and will look a her career from her debuts as a little-known singer to a multimillion-record-selling entertainer and trendsetter.

Cooke said: ‘Most pop stars owe everything to this woman. It's amazing all of the things that she's done in her lifetime, and I have a feeling that this is still only the beginning,’

Still the beginning? I don’t know about that!  Previous comics were about Betty White, Michelle Obama, Barbara Walters, Sarah Palin and Margaret Thatcher, and upcoming books are planned about Kathy Griffin and Martha Stewart. A sure eclectic female force group.
