Explosions In The Sky First Video

Explosions in the Sky is a band that has never released a video in their 12 years of existence, but it is now a thing done for their song ‘Last known Surroundings’, featured on their last album ‘Take Care, Take Care, Take Care’.

The video made by some friends at Austin design studio Ptarmak, is premiering on Wired and it’s a total computer marvel with space landscapes, a journey of geometric green and red shapes through imaginary galaxies and more earthly cloudy landscapes populated by waterfalls, rocks and germinating trees and flowers.
It may remind you a lot of science fiction movies, or some video games?

The band declared to Wired:
‘It took them months and months of solid work, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their finished product.’
‘We intend to get a few more videos made by some other friends and filmmakers over the next few months. Over the years, many fans have taken it upon themselves to do us the favor and put something together and post it to YouTube and, believe it or not, we have seen a great deal of them and have enjoyed almost all of them.’

I can’t wait to see them at the FYF Fest, and meanwhile you will have to go to the wired site to watch the video:
