Its horrible.
I don't think I have heard a worse cover in my entire life. The timing is off, the vocals are just a mess. The plinking keyboard is awkward and grating. The chorus is, well I cant even find words that explain how horrible it is. I wish I had never heard this and my ears are bleeding.
This certainly wasn't the best The Cars ever did but it is most certainly the worse thing Weezer has ever done. I would compare it to a high school cover band but that would be too high a compliment. "You Might Think", could win the worse song of the year award.
The song is to be used on the Disney Film Cars 2 soundtrack. This is yet another example of how poorly we treat our children in this country. Allowing them to eat this is the auditory equivalent of 8 cups of refined sugar with a Coca Cola chaser.
